Computational Modeling & Visualization Camp
Hosted at the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey, this two week full immersion program is designed to provide students with a hands-on computational experience in:
one) Understanding the latest tools for manipulating and visualizing big data with speci fi c implementations and;
two) Understanding data mining techniques with real world scenarios from social networks to industrial systems.

Introduction to Data Mining Techniques
The course will also cover fundamental statistics, fetching time series data, categorical and spatial data visualization, and customizing plots for publication and presentation.
Through the course, students will develop a basic understanding on manipulating a dataset, and on designing, implementing, and analyzing simple real world scenarios.
The course will be taught in English and will include lectures, hands-on abs, and site visits.
The program will also include in the New York City Metropolitan area.
